Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 7, 2026
MoodLensAI ("MoodLensAI", "we", "us") operates moodlensai.com and the managed application hosting platform available on it. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect when you use our website, create an account, order hosting or contact us, why we collect it, and who we share it with.
MoodLensAI is a hosting business. It does not sell your data, and it does not run advertising or analytics tracking on this site today (see the Cookie Policy for the current, accurate list of cookies in use).
1. Who we are
MoodLensAI provides managed, Docker-based application hosting on shared infrastructure — for example n8n, WordPress and Laravel deployments — so customers do not need to administer their own servers.
Registered business address: [Registered business address — to be added]
2. Data we collect
Account data
- Name and email address you provide when you register.
- Your password, stored only as a salted hash — we cannot read it.
- If you sign in with Google, the name, email address and profile picture Google shares with us for that sign-in.
- If you sign in with GitHub, the name, username, email address and profile picture GitHub shares with us for that sign-in. This is separate from — and does not grant — the repository access described below, which only happens if you separately connect a repository for Git-based deployment.
- If you sign in with LinkedIn, the name, email address and profile picture LinkedIn shares with us for that sign-in.
Hosting and deployment data
- Your hosting orders, selected plan, and the status and configuration of each deployment.
- If you connect a GitHub repository for Git-based deployment, the repository name, branch and the access needed to build and deploy it — we do not read or store your source code beyond what a deployment requires.
- Environment configuration you enter for your deployment (for example environment variables you choose to set).
- Automated backups of your hosted application, where your plan includes them, stored with our S3-compatible storage provider (see the Third parties section below).
Billing and payment data
- Payments are processed by WayForPay. WayForPay collects your card details directly — MoodLensAI never receives or stores your full card number.
- We store order and transaction metadata: amount, currency, plan, status and the payment reference WayForPay returns, so we can show you an order history and reconcile payments.
Support and AI-assisted requests
- Messages you send us through the contact page.
- If you describe a project idea through our AI assistant / "start a project" flow, that free-text description is sent to our AI provider, OpenAI, to help pre-fill your brief. Per OpenAI's own API terms, data submitted through its API is not used to train its models by default.
Logs and security data
- Standard application and server logs, including IP address, timestamp and request metadata, used for security, abuse prevention and debugging.
Cookies
We currently use only essential, functional cookies (sign-in, session and security) — no advertising or analytics tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy for the exact list.
3. How we use this data
- To create and operate your account and hosting deployments.
- To process payments and maintain accurate billing records.
- To respond to support requests and, where you use it, to run the AI assistant that helps scope your project.
- To secure the platform: detect abuse, prevent fraud, and protect other customers sharing the same infrastructure.
- To send you service-essential communications (billing receipts, deployment status, security notices). We do not send marketing email without a separate opt-in.
4. Third parties we share data with
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with the service providers needed to run MoodLensAI:
- WayForPay — payment processing.
- Google — optional sign-in (OAuth), only if you choose to use it.
- GitHub — optional sign-in (OAuth), and separately, optional repository access if you connect a repository for Git-based deployment. These are independent: signing in with GitHub does not grant repository access, and vice versa.
- LinkedIn — optional sign-in (OAuth), only if you choose to use it.
- OpenAI — processes free-text project descriptions you submit to the AI assistant.
- Our transactional email provider — delivers account, billing and security emails.
- Our S3-compatible backup storage provider — stores encrypted-at-rest backups of hosted applications, where a plan includes them.
- Hetzner — the cloud infrastructure provider whose servers our platform and your hosted application run on.
Each of these providers processes data only as needed to provide their service to us, under their own terms and security practices.
5. Data retention
We keep account and billing data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards where we need it for bookkeeping, tax or dispute-resolution purposes. Hosting backups are kept according to your plan's retention setting and are deleted on the same schedule after a deployment is removed. Logs are kept for a limited operational window and then rotated out.
6. Security
We use HTTPS/TLS in transit, hash passwords, generate a fresh set of deployment secrets for every hosting instance, and isolate each customer's application in its own container. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices
Wherever you are located, you can contact us to ask what personal data we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete your account and associated data — subject to what we need to keep for legitimate billing, security or legal record-keeping. To make a request, email privacy@moodlensai.com.
8. International infrastructure
Our infrastructure and the service providers listed above may be located in different countries from you. We take reasonable steps to keep data secure wherever it is processed, regardless of location.
9. Children
MoodLensAI is a business hosting product and is not directed at, or intended for use by, children under 16.
10. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of MoodLensAI after a change means you accept the updated policy.
