Automatic backups for your hosted application
Backups run automatically on a fixed schedule and are stored away from the server itself. You can trigger a backup or a restore from your dashboard whenever you need to.
For anyone running a real application on MoodLensAI who does not want to build and maintain their own backup pipeline — a pet project, an MVP, or a small team's production app.
How it works
Scheduled, automatic
Backups run on a fixed schedule (every 24 hours by default) — there is nothing to configure per deployment.
Stored off the server
Backups are written to a separate, S3-compatible storage provider, not to the same disk as your running application.
Restore from your dashboard
Trigger a backup or restore a previous one directly from your client dashboard, with no support ticket required.
Backup and restore are both real, tracked operations in your deployment history, and a restore is always checked against your own deployment before it runs — one customer's backup can never be restored onto another customer's app.

Limitations
Backups are a safety net for a bad deploy, a disk failure or an accidental change — they are not a version-control system, and not a substitute for keeping your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. A restore replaces your application's current data with the backup you choose; there is no partial or file-level restore today.

Frequently asked questions
How often are backups taken?
Automatically, on a fixed schedule — every 24 hours by default.
Where are backups stored?
Off the server itself, on a separate S3-compatible storage provider, so a problem with your server does not affect your backups.
How long are backups kept?
For 14 days by default.
Can I trigger a backup or restore myself?
Yes. Both are available from your client dashboard at any time.
Are backups a guarantee against data loss?
No. They are a safety net, not a guarantee — keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
